PRESS RELEASE
Sx Loudspeaker Line Expands with E-V's Sx250
July 23, 2002
Advertisement EV (Electro-Voice ) introduced the Sx250 loudspeaker, the newest addition to its line of Sx Series loudspeakers, at this year's Summer NAMM. The Sx250 is a 15-inch two-way full-range sound system. The Sx250 was created for applications that require the warmer low end that its 15-woofer provides while maintaining the small size and minimal weight of the Sx family. The Sx250's enclosure is made of seven-ply plywood and weighs only 40 pounds. The SxA250 has a built-in stand mount adapter, can be used as a floor monitor and can also be hung safely using the optional SK-1 kit. The Sx-1 kit comes complete with a piece of L-track, an insert for the pull-up point on the rear of the enclosure and two single-stud Ancra fittings. The SxA250 has handles on the top and the side so that it can be easily transported horizontally or vertically. In addition, the SxA250 has concert-proven EV components including the DH2010a pure titanium compression driver and DL15BFH cast frame 15-inch woofer. Its 80-degree x 55-degree CD horn has tighter coverage and control. The SxA250 also features EV's patented Ring Mode Decoupling (RMD) technology.
