July 19, 2002

Peavey Electronics has eliminated the longest-standing, most time-consuming dilemma in sound reinforcement. Thanks to Color Cue microphone cables, Peavey's new line of illuminating, color-coded XLRs, sound engineers will no longer waste valuable time sorting through tangled webs of identical-looking cables. The colored lenses on Peavey's Color Cues microphone cables are illuminated by the mixer's phantom power source so sound engineers can easily identify microphones on stage. Color-coded 'mixer magnets' allow the sound engineer to match the microphones to their corresponding channels on the mixing board. Color Cues are available in a standard 20' length and are available with red, green, blue, yellow, white, magenta, purple and orange color lenses. Color Cue cables will be available from U.S. Authorized Peavey Dealers in September 2002. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.peavey.com/.
