Peavey introduced the follow-up to its RQ 2310 eight-channel mixer, the new RQ 2310 FX, featuring 48-bit digital effects and the Feedback Ferret. The RQ 2310 FX eight-channel mixer features eight XLR inputs and six mono channels with three-band EQ and sweepable mid frequency. The RQ 2310 FX also features two stereo channels and a stereo tape input for a total of 12 inputs. The output's nine-band graphic EQ can be assigned to the tape input or the main outputs. The RQ 2310 FX's built-in 48-bit digital effects processor has four user store locations for instant recall of customized effects such as reverb and chorus. Also built into this truly full-featured mixer is Peavey's new Feedback Ferret, a stereo digital feedback elimination system that uses a comprehensive 16 filters to automatically scan and filter feedback. This feature is invaluable to sound reinforcement professionals and musicians alike. Each of RQ 2310 FX's channels features a PFL/solo and mute button with an LED indicator that also serves as a signal present and peak indicator. The A/B mix and main L/R output are assignable from each channel, allowing the user to configure the mixer as a four-bus recording mixer or use the A/B mix as a sub group for live mixing. A post L/R fader mono out is also provided. The RQ 2310 FX mixing console has a U.S. MSRP of $549.99 and will be available from Authorized Peavey Dealers in October 2002. Features:
