Phil Jones Bass Launches T-500 Tube Bass Head

Need power? The new T-500's reserve of power can provide you smooth rich tone from a sweet whisper to a bone crushing 650-watt thunder.

At the heart of this machine are four Svetlana 813 "beam power transmitter tetrodes", unleashing power equivalent to at least twelve 6550 conventional power tubes. This tube was plainly designed to withstand continuous-duty high-power industrial demands.

An ultra high impedance input will bring new life to vintage passive basses. The active input has plenty of headroom for today's higher output basses featuring onboard pre-amps. Extensive six-band EQ will find you the perfect tone you are looking for.

A specialized output transformer was engineered to answer the high-current, continuous low-frequency needs of bass players and provide optimal transfer function for the larger PJB speaker enclosures. All wiring is silver soldered point-to-point, made from a mixture of Teflon-insulated pure silver and the purest copper (0.99999%) that combine the high frequency extension of silver and the low frequency impact factor of ultra-pure copper.
