David DiFrancesco, Executive Vice President of Rolls Corporation, announced the release of the PS16 Personal Monitor Power Center. The PS16 distributes 12 volts DC, and a mono line-level monitor signal to four (expandable to ten) of the PM series units; the PM50s, PM50sOB, and the PM350. The unit has a 1/4" unbalanced input as well as a transformer isolated XLR balanced input. The four 1/4" Tip-Ring-Sleeve outputs are configured with the monitor signal on the tip, the +12 volts on the ring, and the sleeve provides grounding. The PM series units, when operating in MONO mode, are designed to receive the signal and power on their Monitor input. Up to ten of the PM series devices may be operated via the use of stereo adapters in their Monitor inputs. The PS16 has a U.S. retail price of $75.00, and they are shipping now.
