New ATH-M20 Monitor Headphones from Audio-Technica
 July 21, 2003Audio-Technica chose the Summer NAMM show to introduce the new ATH-M20 professional monitor headphones. Following in the tradition of the ATH-M30 and ATH-M40 professional monitor headphones, the new ATH-M20 headphones utilize a closed-back design, feature a rich bass response with an extended high end, and are available at an extremely affordable price point.
Employing the company's latest transducer technology, the new ATH-M20 dynamic stereo headphones offer a high level of sonic accuracy in a design engineered to provide maximum comfort for hours of listening.
The ATH-M20 headphones feature a low-profile, closed-back design providing clarity and isolation in high-volume listening situations. The headphones feature 40 mm drivers, each with a neodymium magnet structure, and have a frequency response of 30 -- 20,000 Hz.
The ATH-M20's also have a lightweight, adjustable cushioned headband to provide maximum listening comfort. In addition, they feature a gold-plated stereo 1/8" (3.5 mm) connector with strain relief and snap-on 1/4" (6.3 mm) adapter, as well as a sturdy, ultra-flexible 10' (3.0 m) coiled cable with single-side exit (left side).
The ATH-M20 headphones will be available in August 2003 with an MSRP of $69.00.
