Burns Brings Back the Bison Guitar and Bass

Originally introduced in 1961, as the Black Bison, this reproduction model features an alder body with a bolt-on rock maple neck (bound rosewood fingerboard), and 22 fret/24.5" scale. It features the Burns Tri-Sonic pickups, with unique wiring configurations, providing a wide range of tonal effects (including the combination settings of Wild Dog and Split Sound). Burns twin pivot tremolo system. Available in Black, Satin Black, White (gold hardware), Red Sunburst or Translucent Red finishes. Price: $775

The Burns Bison Bass is modeled after the 1962 issue of the bass version of the Bison guitar. It is constructed from alder and has a bolt-on hard rock maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. The bass has a 34-inch scale with 22 frets and features a Gotoh-style bridge. Bass versions of the Tri-Sonic pickups are used with the same wiring configuration as the Bison guitar. The Bison unique tonal combinations are available from the pickup selector controls. Available in Black, Satin Black, White (with gold hardware), Red Sunburst, or Translucent Red finishes.
