Don't miss NAMM booth 5417 where Bill "the Buddha" Dickens will be on
hand showcasing his new Conklin Custom Shop 9 string bass. Bill's new
bass features a 7-piece Maple/Purpleheart bolt-on neck construction with
a 26 fret Purpleheart fingerboard, a Dragonwood body with Quilt Maple
top, Bartolini pickups and electronics and is finished out with a
see-through lime/grape/lime cellophane finish.
The new GTRP-4
co-designedby Rocco Prestia and Bill Conklin will also be on display.
Rocco's bass features a 3-piece Maple bolt-on neck with a 21 fret
Birdseye Maple board, Swamp Ash body and figured Maple pickguard. The
GTRP-4 is powered by specially wound Bartolini P and J pickups and a
2-band EQ. You can be sure that there will be dozens of other wicked
players and tasty creations from the Conklin Custom Shop there as well
such as hollowbody MIDI basses, Multiple-scale 8 string guitars,
unbelievable double-necks and Conklin's exclusive "Melted Tops".
