Numark is now shipping the DXM series of all-digital DJ mixers: the DXM01, DXM03, and DXM06.
With a 24-bit digital signal path throughout, the DXM series offers S/N ratios greater than 103 dB. Look-ahead peak limiting on headphone and master outputs allows extreme EQ and signal boost with full clarity, and DXM mixers use noise-free digital controls for the ultimate in longevity and precision. Numark's D-Type Fader with reverse switch and continuous rotary slope control is employed for exceptionally responsive and adaptable crossfading. All DXM mixers offer steep 3-band EQ with Frequency Kill. Connections include two phono inputs (w/phono defeat switch), two line inputs, and RCA record and master outputs. The DXM06 adds a mic/stereo aux input and 1/4" balanced master outputs.
Each DXM model has unique features to appeal to various DJ tastes. The DXM06 incorporates 12 beat-synced and vocal effects designed specifically for the DJ, including double-copy, tape echo, echo, flanger, phaser, filter, vocoder, reverb, and distortion--controllable with a Beat Sync Tap Button, wet/dry fader, and rotary parameter knob. The DXM03 features a huge 12-column Spectrum Analyzer, allowing 6 display modes for illuminating the frequency pattern of a mix. The DXM01 includes a Sub-Bass Synthesizer for beefing up low end in a way that harmonically matches the music.
