New TT500 DJ Turntable from NumarkFeatures same 4.5kg/cm torque direct-drive motor as flagship TTX  July 23, 2003
At the Summer NAMM show, Numark announced the TT500 professional DJ turntable. Boasting the same new direct-drive motor as the TTX, the TT500 delivers ultra-high torque of 4.5kg/cm.
Like the TTX, the TT500 offers an interchangeable aluminum tonearm assembly complete with S-shaped and straight tonearms for heavy scratching or club style spinning. A newly designed super-bright aluminum target light assures visibility in low light environments. The TT500 also features an aluminum platter and steel top.
The TT500 offers a user-replaceable pitch fader, and playback speeds of 33, 45, and 78 rpm. Direction is reversible via a dedicated button, and there are two start/stop buttons. The TT500 also has detachable power and audio connections.
