July 18, 2003

At the Summer NAMM show, Peavey introduced the new V-Type NTB guitars, Peavey's premier metal axe and the next generation of neck-through-body guitars.

Peavey outfitted this sleek, 24-fret guitar with hot ceramic humbuckers and dual-blade pickups for cranking thick distorted tones, and a smooth, no-heel, neck-through-body construction to accommodate your fast fingerwork and furious riffing. The V-Type NTB comes in tremolo (TR) and stop tailpiece (ST) models, with a Floyd Rose-licensed, double-locking tremolo for dive-bombing solos or a Tunomatic bridge with string-through-body design for non-tremolo players.

Both models feature a 13 degree pitch, reverse six-in-line headstock, dual-expansion truss rod, jumbo frets, rosewood fingerboard and three-way toggle switch. Also standard on the V-Type NTB is a custom pearl binding that tracks around the entire body, neck and headstock.
