At the Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Roland announced its next-generation of KC-Series Stereo Mixing Keyboard Amplifiers. Consisting of the 180-watt KC-550, the 120-watt KC-350 and the 60-watt KC-150, these new amps all offer more of the features keyboard players need--like convenient 4-channel operation, a stereo Auxiliary input (RCA type) and XLR Microphone input, and compatibility with an optional powered subwoofer like the new KCW-1.

In addition to the features mentioned above, the affordable KC-150 offers 60 watts of power via a 12-inch speaker and piezo tweeter. It includes onboard 2-band EQ for adjusting the tone, plus the ability to mount the speaker on conventional speaker stands.

Moving up to the KC-350, users gain a powerful 120-watt amplifier with a 12-inch speaker and horn tweeter, along with 3-band EQ and a unique Shape switch for quick tonal adjustment. The KC-350 also features a convenient Output Select switch for selecting the monitor sound destination, plus 1/4-inch Line outputs for connecting to recording devices, and Stereo Link for chaining two amps for stereo applications.

The flagship KC-550 includes all the features of the KC-350, along with a more powerful 180-watt amplifier, 15-inch speaker and horn tweeter, and XLR Line outputs for connecting to a mixing console.

All three amps feature a Subwoofer output for direct connection to the optional KCW-1 Powered Subwoofer. This 200-watt sub delivers punchy low end to any sub-out equipped amp, or to standard amplifiers via a stereo Thru output. The KCW-1 offers simple controls including a Crossover knob, Phase switch and Shape switch.
