Taylor Launches "Coolest Pickup Sweepstakes" Try out a Taylor guitar at your local dealer and you could win one of your very own July 18, 2003
Taylor Guitars announced the "Coolest Pickup Sweepstakes," giving guitarists the chance to win a Presentation Series guitar or one of twenty-four other prizes.
For a customer to be eligible to win, they need a Taylor dealer (US or Canada) to demonstrate any guitar equipped with Taylor's new Expression System pickup (any acoustic/electric from the 500 Series on up). The dealer must then validate a Sweepstakes entry form for the customer, and send it to Taylor. Winning entry forms will be personally chosen at random by Bob Taylor, and each dealer whose store produces a winning customer will also be awarded a prize. Validated entry forms must be postmarked by September 30, 2003.
Sweepstakes prizes, for dealers and customers alike, are: Grand Prize (one winner) is a Presentation Series guitar equipped with Expression System electronics, and a Taylor Guitars K4 Equalizer, with circuitry designed by Rupert Neve. First Prize (two winners) is a 910ce guitar, Second Prize (two winners) is a 510ce, and Third Prize (twenty winners) is a Taylor Guitars K4 Equalizer.
