Yamaha Professional Audio has debuted the Club V loudspeaker systems at Summer NAMM 2003. Models specifically designed for mobile and permanent installation applications offer the choice of either carpet or sprayed elastomeric finishes.
New cabinet tunings yield improved low frequency performance, and newly developed transducers allow higher power capacities for use with larger amplifiers. An improved, constant-directivity horn was also developed to further enhance high frequency dispersion and response. Durable steel input panels contain both dual 1/4-in. and dual Neutrik Speakon connectors.
Models available in either finish include: 12", 15" and dual 15" 2-way loudspeakers; 10", 12" and 15" floor monitors; plus a single 15", a single 18" and dual 18" subwoofers. Two models will be available for suspension (or "flying"): a 15" 2-way and 12" 2-way, both with pre-installed hanging hardware. Carpet covered cabinets feature heavy gauge, arced steel grilles and steel corner protectors. Sprayed finish enclosures feature foam backed, full-face perforated steel grilles, providing a less obtrusive look for high profile venues.
