B-5 Condenser Added to Behringer's Microphone Line

July 24, 2003

At the Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Behringer introduced the B-5 condenser type microphone, faeturing two interchangeable capsules for selecting cardioid and omnidirectional pickup patterns and a low-mass gold sputtered diaphragm. The B-5 is immediately available.

A low-noise transformerless FET input eliminates low-frequency distortion. Its switchable low-frequency roll-off and -10dB input attenuation give the B-5 some versatility, while a satin nickel-plated brass body and a gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector round out the feature set. The B-5 comes with a custom microphone stand adapter, windscreen and transport case. Retail price is $99.99
