Originally produced in the early eighties, this updated version of the scorpion has an alder body construction with a bolt-on rock maple neck. The mother-of-pearl bound fingerboard has an accessible 24 fret/25.5" scale. It has a pair of Burns split humbucker pick-ups, with a coil tap on the bridge pickup. The standard configuration is with a stop tailpiece, and a Floyd Rose tremolo system with a locking nut is available as an option. Standard color; "Gothic" satin black.
