Crest Performance Introduces CPM-9812P Powered Mixer
July 28, 2003
Advertisement Crest Performance, a division of Crest Audio, announced the CPM-9812P rack-mountable powered mixer at Summer NAMM. The CPM-9812P features 500 Watts RMS per channel into 4 Ohms and built-in original technology. Designed for clubs, schools, rehearsal rooms and churches, the CPM-9812P powered mixer also offers extras, such as eight low noise, low-Z preamps, three-band EQ and EFX send on channels 1-8, plus three stereo line inputs on channels 7-9. The 16-bit audio/32-bit internal DSP stereo reverb and effects feature two-parameter controls for easily creating the sounds you need. GCL (Gain Comparator Limiting) reduces power amp distortion, producing a clearer sound. GCL also protects speakers from damage caused by distorted signals. The CPM-9812P also features two nine-band graphic EQs and the patented Feedback Detection System. The Feedback Detection System detects the onset of feedback in the sonic spectrum and lights an LED over that frequency's corresponding EQ slider, so the user can adjust the slider to quickly remove feedback. The CPM-9812P will be available in 2003 from Authorized Crest Performance Dealers. Features:
