Edirol has announced the new PCR-80, offering all the features common to the PCR-30 & the PCR-50, but with 61 full-sized velocity sensitive keys. Like the smaller PCR keyboards, the PCR-80 can be powered over USB & offers 27 assignable controls which can control any MIDI message. This keyboard offers 16 onboard memory locations to store different control arrangements & also comes with a software editor for creating your own control maps. Features of the PCR-80 include:
The PCR-80's memory locations come pre-loaded with settings for leading MIDI/Audio Sequencers such as Cubase, Digital Performer, Pro Tools LE, and Sonar- more control maps are available for download at www.edirol.com. Control of software synths and hardware Sound Modules is also supported. And for Multimedia artists, PCR-80 offers V-Link, an exciting feature from Edirol and Roland that provides for realtime performance control over digital video. V-Link allows the user to trigger clips, perform video effects and transitions in real-time when connected with the Edirol DV-7PR (sold separately).
