EV (Electro-Voice) introduced the new Compact Precision Series amplifier family at this year's Summer NAMM. At only 2 rack units high and 15 kg (35 lbs), the CP2200 brings Precision Series amps to a new compact format.

The CP2200 delivers 2 x 800 watts into 4 ohms and 2 x 1100 watts into a 2 ohm load. Due to the high-efficiency class-H design, the CP2200 produces far less waste heat than conventional designs. This allows more amplifier channels and more power in a given rack size.

The CP2200 features the standard EV protection package, which includes sophisticated back-EMF protection and onboard dynamic limiters.
