Genz Benz Introduces El Diablo 100 Tube Guitar Head

At Summer NAMM, Genz Benz Enclosures introduced the new El Diablo 100, an EL 34 powered 100/50-watt tube guitar head.

El Diablo 100 is a 2-channel tube preamp platform with the capability of 12 unique and distinctive remote tone variations, easily accessible by the 5-button footswitch. The design of the tube power section is capable of utilizing EL 34's, 6L6's or 5881 power tubes to suit each player's artistic pallet. Other features include:

WARM Channel with Clean or Vintage Gain Switch, 3-band EQ and Reverb control;
HOT Channel with Classic or High Gain Switch, Dynamic or Compressed Tube Texture switch, unique Tube Contour feature, 3-band EQ and Reverb control;
100/50 Watt Power Switch gives the response and character of two different guitar amps;
HOT Channel Tube Contour – a unique feature adds on additional "tone stack" that interacts with the tube preamp and takes you from Texas tone to British zone and all points in between;
Global Attack – a frequency boost that enhances pick attack and is an effective lead boost as well;
Three Effects Loops: Channel 1, Channel 2 and Global.

Additionally El Diablo is loaded with custom wound transformers, military spec. double-sided glass epoxy circuit boards and utilizes the Genz Benz exclusive "edge-lift" handles that provide sure and sturdy handling of this roadworthy amplifier.

The projected MSRP is $1,599.50.
