New Catalina Birch Series Drums from Gretsch

At the Summer NAMM show, Gretsch unveiled the new Catalina Birch series. This new series features a 100% all birch shell, UV gloss wood-grain finishes, GTS Suspension systems for all mounted toms, an independently adjustable double tom holder, heavy duty telescopic spurs, matching wood bass hoops, Die Cast low-mass lugs and a wood snare. The Catalina Birch series will be available in four finishes (Vintage Burst, Red Cherry, Dark Walnut, and Caribbean Blue) and in three configurations along with a full supplement of available add-on drums. Retail price for a 5pc shell pack with mounting hardware is $1,079.00 or complete with the 5600PK Gibraltar hardware pack at $1,429.00.
