Lace Offers Huntington Performance Tuned Guitar

July 24, 2003

Lace Music Products introduces its new line of Performance Tuned guitars, based on its offshore brand of Hunting ton guitars. The Performance Tuned (PT) starts out as a regular model Huntington, but the best of the batch are hand picked during the 100% quality inspection for the Performance Tuning process.

PT selected guitars are disassembled and retrofitted with new pickguards, an American input jack, and hot rodded with the latest in "Made In USA" Lace pickups. Pickups offered in the PTs are the Lace Gold Sensor, vintage-style, low noise Alinco 5 Holy Grails, and the high-range Lace Chrome Domes. All of the above pickups are made in the Huntington Beach, CA factory.

The PTs are carefully reassembled, and a complete fret dress is done, adding a metal headstock plate, for "right out of the box to stage" performance. Huntingtons sport a basswood body, rosewood fingerboard, and maple neck with 15 degree tilt-back headstock.

The Lace PT / LS model features a white pickguard, PT neck plate, Lace Gold Sensors, and retails for $399.00. The Lace PT /HG model sports a mint green pickguard, PT neck plate, cream Holy Grail pickups, and knobs, and retails for 5449.00. The Lace PT / CD model has a tortoise pickguard, PT neck plate, and Lace Chrome Domes, retailing for 5459.00.

First shipments fo the PT line are due in September, 2003.
