Numark has announced the DM1002 MKII DJ mixer, an update of Numark's DM1002 mixer, recognized by its distinctive, curved level meters. As a stylish, two-channel tabletop mixer with line, phono, and microphone inputs, the DM1002 MKII offers the best value in basic, straight-ahead DJ mixing. The DM1002 MKII supports two line inputs, two switchable phono/line inputs, and one 1/4" microphone input, as well as master and record outputs. The DM1002 MKII has a replaceable crossfader with reverse and slope control, and two transform buttons. Both channels include 3-band EQ with rotary frequency kills, as well as toggle kill switches. There are also tone controls on both the microphone input and headphone output. Additional updates include slider-style cuing, theft-proof knobs, and a dual-tone, tapered design. The DM1002 MKII keeps the signature multi-colored, curved LED meters of the original model for master and PFL metering. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.numark.com/.
