New CPT Series Monitors from Crest Performance

The Crest Performance division of Crest
Audio used the Summer NAMM show to introduce two new floor
monitors to its CPT Series loudspeakers: the CPT M and CPT 2M. These
monitors are intended for small- to medium-sized performance venues,
including houses of worship, intimate music clubs, multi-purpose rooms
and any permanent installation.
The smooth mid-range offered by the CPT M and CPT 2M monitors enables
better intelligibility, allowing performers to hear every sonic nuance
as intended from the audio source being amplified. This is particularly
imperative for loudspeakers used in voice reproduction, as the mid-range
vocal region is the number one area that generates either compliments or
complaints from performers and worship leaders.
Each Crest Performance CPT monitor includes one two-position terminal
strip and one four-pin Neutrik I/O connector in parallel; a 90* x 40*
degree constant directivity horn; a 1.5" Crest HF-1 titanium compression
driver; and a 13 mm dado-joined birch enclosure with a textured acrylic
polyurethane exterior. CPT monitors are available in black, white or
natural finishes.
The CPT M and CPT 2M monitors are available now from authorized Crest
Performance dealers.
