$100 Rebate on American Series Instruments Through August

Continuing with its year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster guitar, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) announced their rebate program. As part of the program, consumers who purchase a new qualifying Fender American Series instrument between June 1st and August 31st, 2004 will receive a $100 savings, courtesy of FMIC.
FMIC is promoting the rebate program to consumers through advertising and direct communication via the company's e-mail database and website. Consumers are then be directed to visit their nearest participating authorized Fender retailer to take part in the program.
Any Fender American Series instrument, including Stratocaster guitars, Telecaster guitars, Precision Bass guitars and Jazz Bass guitars, are qualifying instruments. This also includes any existing stock that a retailer may already have, as well as newly ordered instruments.
At the point of purchase, the consumer will receive an instant savings of $50 given by the retailer, which will be funded by FMIC. The consumer will also receive a coupon for an additional $50 rebate, which will be sent directly from FMIC once the consumer sends in the completed coupon.
FMIC's new rebate program is effective from June 1, 2004, through August 31, 2004.
