IK Releases New and Updated SampleTank 2 Sound Modules

IK Multimedia announce the new Expansion Tank series of SampleTank2 LE sound modules at NAMM. Expansion Tank are the plug-in series which combines the company's powerful sample engine with sounds in a series of convenient packages.
A range of more than 20 affordable sound modules will start shipping in August 2004.
Each title can be used on it's own using the included SampleTank 2 LE plug-in, and they can also be used to expand the sound content of the full version of SampleTank 2.

The existing titles have been completely reprogrammed with more sounds to take advantage of SampleTank 2 exclusive new engine features like STRETCH and PSTS. All remastered and repackaged for the inclusion of the new SampleTank 2 LE plug-in sound module.
Expansion Tank libraries are also available as a convenient 3-Pack that allows extra savings. The 3-Pack can be composed with any selection of the Expansion Tank titles a-la-carte.
All sounds included in the Expansion Tank have been programmed to take advantage of the exclusive features which have made SampleTank 2.
- Default presets with STRETCH allow you to take advantage of more realistic sounds thanks to its format preserving perfect bending (strings, brass, vocals)
- 3 synth engines: new STRETCH, Pitch-Shift/Time-Stretch, Resampling.
- 32 built-in DSP effects, 5 playable effects per part, 2 editable effects per part
- Loop sync for easy BPM matching
- 1 CD of sounds each with an accurate selection of must have instruments and loops
Price and availability
Expansion Tank titles have an MSRP of $99 each. The series is also available as a 3-Pack at MSRP of $249. The range of 20 Expansion Tank sound libraries will be available at the beginning of August 2004.
