M-Audio has announced "The Best of ProSessions--Vol. 2: Liquid Cinema" in Apple Loops format to directly support Apple's GarageBand, Logic, SoundTrack and Final Cut software.
The Liquid Cinema library from which this new Apple Loops title is culled reflects the scoring of Hollywood composer Jeff Rona, whose credits include "Traffic," "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Black Hawk Down," "Chicago Hope," and "The Mothman Prophesies." The release incorporates highlights of the seven titles in Jeff Rona's critically acclaimed Liquid Cinema series: "Cinematic Impact," "Cinematic "Pulse," "Cinematic Ambience," "Tabla Science," "Junkyard Sessions" and "The Hollywood Players: Late Nite Sessions Vols. 1 & 2". Each sample is recorded and meticulously hand-edited for maximum quality and flexibility when integrating with other track and/or picture.
"Over the years I have developed a method of scoring for film, TV and records that keeps things fresh, interesting, and cinematic," says Rona. "I continually develop a palette of sounds and rhythms that excite me that I can draw from for the project at hand. Like a painter, it's my palette of colors before I touch brush to canvas. I've collected many of those unique sounds--and created a lot of brand new ones--and put them together in Liquid Cinema. The collection delivers inspiration for film, television, commercials, music production and games."
"The Best of ProSessions--Vol. 2: Liquid Cinema" is currently available through Apple stores and on M-Audio's Web site and carries an MSRP of $99.95.
