Zoom has updated their line of FIRE guitar amplifier combos with the new FIRE-18M and FIRE-36M. The new lineup boasts Zoom's guitar effects processing in compact enclosures, with more power, newly designed speakers and built-in microphones with direct recording outputs.

The Fire 18M features 18 Watts powering a new and improved 8-inch driver with extended low-end frequency response. The internal Zoom processing includes 11 built-in amp models with 5 effects modules and 17 effect types, giving you 10 user programmable patches and 10 preset patches. The 18M features a single mini-condenser microphone mounted in the grille, in front of the speaker cone. A dedicated pre-amp simulates a instrument oriented mic performance, so you can easily get a miced cabinet signal time and time again.

The Fire 36M features 36 Watts of power and a new 10-inch driver with extended low frequency response. The 36M boasts 22 built-in amp models with 7 effects modules and 19 effect types, allowing 10 user programmable patches and 20 factory presets. The 36M features 2 mini-condenser microphones mounted in front of the speaker cone at different locations, with a dedicated pre-amp out section for direct output recordings. The Fire 36M also features a Power Damp switch that lets you play at low volumes.

The updated FIRE combos include a full complement of Zoom guitar effects. Standards like Chorus, Flanger, Phase, Delay, and Reverb as well as modern sounds like Ring Modulator and Slow Attack, with every effect adjustable in intensity. They also offer four post-effect processing tools including Boost, Sustain, Edge and Bottom. Control knobs allow you to adjust Level, Gain and a three band EQ with Bass, Middle and Treble controls.

The Zoom FIRE combos also provide Zoom ZNR noise reduction, a CD/AUX input jack, a headphone jack for private listening and a built-in auto chromatic tuner.
