Alesis RoadFire Provides Battery-Powered Guitar Amplification

July 24, 2004

Building off WildFire Digital Guitar Amplifier Series, Alesis introduces new portable guitar amplifier. The RoadFire Guitar Amp is a 15 watt combo with an 8" speaker, and comes in a rugged case built to take the harsh conditions of clubs as well as remote locations where AC power is not available.

Incorporating Alesis DSP technology which allows for 80 diverse presets that can be edited, overwritten or restored to factory default, the Roadfire is not just a simple barebones amps.

The RoadFire Amp features a 1/4" stereo headphone output on the front panel that disconnects the speaker when in use. Additionally, the rear panel supports a 1/4" expression pedal input for control of effect parameters, an external speaker output jack, and stereo RCA inputs for connecting a CD or MP3 player. A specially dedicated "Stereo Link" output allows a second guitar amp to be connected for separated stereo amplification.
