Ashdown Launches Fallen Angel Amps with DSP
July 23, 2004
Advertisement New from UK amplification specialists Ashdown Engineering is the Fallen Angel DSP range of hi-gain, 2-channel guitar amps with built-in DSP digital effects. Comprising of a 40-Watt 1x12 combo, 60-Watt 2x12 combo and a 60-Watt head, the new Fallen Angel DSPs provide rock and nu-metal players with a palette of all-tube overdrive tones, with plenty of power on tap for power chords and saturated lead solos. And although the Fallen Angel DSPs are unashamedly designed to rock, they're also capable of clean and crunch tones. The Fallen Angel DSP combos and head incorporate a digital effects section, with a 16 way rotary switch selecting a range of Chorus, Flanger and Vibrato effects. Live performance flexibility is further enhanced by Channel 1/2 footswitching and dual Master Volume controls, which are also footswitchable. Additional features include an external effects loop, a line level recording output with speaker emulation and the trademark Ashdown illuminated power output meter. Fallen Angel DSP Features:
