The Summer NAMM Expo brought with it the introduction the CPM-2462, a 16-channel desktop/rack-mountable mixer designed with quiet circuitry suitable for studio or live audio applications. The CPM-2462 mixer features 16 channel strips with ultra-low-noise XLR mic inputs for handling a wide variety of inputs in various jobs. This mixer also features EQ, pan, aux and group assign controls, plus four input-channel configurations for flexibility. Its wedge design makes it ideal for easy desktop use or rack mounting. A typical 16-mono-channel mixer can fill up fast with line-level inputs such as synthesizers, tone modules, drum machines and CD players, but the CPM-2462 has eight extra line inputs (for a total of 24 inputs) that can be used as mono inputs or paired with channels 9-16–ideal for pre- or post-production mixdown. These extra inputs can also be assigned to their own stereo sub group and then routed to auxes or main subgroups. This is a level of flexibility not found on any other comparably priced mic/line mixer. The CPM-2462 is now available from authorized Crest Performance dealers. Features
