Korg Releases OS Update for Professional Arrangers

Advertisement Korg has recently released Version 1.6, the latest in a series of free operating system upgrades for the Pa1X Pro and Pa1X Arranger keyboards New features include software support for the user-installable EXB-MP3 board, which allows players to record their entire performance – including vocals – as an MP3 file. Files recorded in this way can be played back via the internal sequencer during a later performance. Also supported is an optional upgrade to the on-board TC-Helicon vocal processor. This option (SUGTC1) adds the pitch correction and vocal modeling features. It can be purchased by visiting www.korgpa.com, and a trial version is included in the newest OS version. Version 1.6 also offers more resources – two new snares, four new drum kits and four new Styles. Additional highlights include:
