The PVD division of Peavey announced the 112P and 115P powered enclosures at this year's Summer NAMM show. Equipped with durable molded cabinets and versatile power ratings, these enclosures are designed with mobile DJ use in mind. The PVDJ 112P and 115P powered enclosures are bi-amped, providing 300 Watts to the subwoofer and 100 Watts to the tweeter. This protects the tweeter by separating the lows and improves the volume-before-distortion capability significantly. Peavey's DDT Distortion Detection Technique prevents the power amp from clipping, protecting not only the amp but the speakers as well. An LED signifies when this automatic protection circuitry engages. These enclosures also feature three inputs with separate volume controls, two line-level inputs and one XLR & 1/4" combo microphone input with 30 dB pad to allow for multiple type sources. The PVDJ 112P (U.S. MSRP $379.99) and PVDJ 115P (U.S. MSRP $429.99) will be available in Q3 2004 from authorized PVDJ retailers. Features
