| New Typhoon Series Live Consoles from ALTO
July 22, 2005
ALTO is launching the Typhoon Series of live mixing consoles at this year's Summer NAMM show from, consisting of four models:
- Typhoon4800 48-channel console
- Typhoon3200 32-channel console
- Typhoon2400 24-channel console
- Typhoon1600 16-channel console
Features Include:
- Low noise, high headroom mic preamps with 60dB gain, line preamps with up to 35dB gain
- Signal-to-noise ratio: 130dB
- Low levels of distortion
- 8 Aux sends with pre/post EQ switching
- Fully-featured talkback section
- Premium 100mm faders
- 4-band adjustable frequency EQ on each mono channel, as well as +48V inserts and direct outs
- +48V phantom power and phase switching on every stereo channel
- Insert points on 8 subgroups, all AUX outs and main mix outs
- Master section includes stereo 100mm faders and mute switching with a total of 4 mute groups
- External power supply plus optional aux. power supply available
- Lightweight, compact and affordable
The Typhoon Series (1600, 2400) will be available September 2005. The Typhoon Series (3200, 4800) will be available October 2005.
