Fender Bass Amplification introduced its latest offering, the MB-1200 Power Amp. Designed for players who prefer a component system, this 1200 watt "mono-block" power amplifier was designed to satisfy the huge power demands of touring professionals worldwide
The MB-1200 amplifies the signal of a dedicated pre-amp and can power multiple speaker cabinets (down to a 2 Ohm load). The unique design of the MB-1200 Power Amp is the "mono-block" approach, delivering full power to a mono bass signal. Rear panel features include a total of six speaker outputs (four 1/4" outputs and two-Speakon outputs), removable IEC cable, 1/4" and XLR inputs for a pre-amp, and two power amp pass-through jacks.
The new MB-1200's sturdy, heavy-duty steel chassis with thick milled front panel fits conveniently into two rack spaces with a simply laid-out front panel that includes a large volume knob, blue neo power light indicator that also functions as a signal meter indicating Clip and Protect, and a power switch.
The MB-1200 begins shipping this month. US MSRP is $1,214.27.
