New at NAMM are the latest additions to Line 6's Spider II series. The all-new Spider II HD75 head and 4x12 MkII cabinet offer amp tones, effects and professional features at an entry-level price.

Spider II HD75 delivers an unprecedented amount of independent amp channels for its price range. Each of the four amp channel models (Clean, Crunch, Metal, and Insane) come preset with tone and effects settings carefully crafted by expert Line 6 sound designers. "You get instant recall of preset tones that are essential for any guitarist," says Darrell Smith, amplification and sound design manager for Line 6. Channel recall also allows users to create and store their own customized amp and effects settings for each model.

This head also features a distortion boost, noise gate, and Line 6's Smart Control FX (six different effect types, two simultaneous) including, Phaser, Chorus/Flanger, Tremolo, Sweep Echo, Tape Echo, and Reverb. All effects can be easily tweaked and delay times can be adjusted using tap tempo.

Spider II HD75 (75-watts mono) also features a CD/MP3 input jack, a headphone out which also doubles as a line level recording output, and a footswitch jack that's compatible with the FBV2 and FBV4 foot controllers.

  • Spider II HD75 (75-watts mono) $349.99
  • Spider II 412 MkII Cabinet (4x12 closed-back) $419.99
