M-Audio has introduced three new ProSessions lines--ProSessions Premium Instruments, ProSessions 24, and ProSessions Producer.
ProSessions Premium Instruments were designed in collaboration with two M-Audio software partners, Sonic Reality and Sonic Implants. These ProSessions Premium Instruments feature meticulous recordings of one or two world-class instruments per volume. All titles include EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, Mach 5 and Reason NN-XT formats.
The titles include:
- Premium Grand Piano - Experience the rich deep tone of the Yamaha C7 grand piano, captured in EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason's NN-XT.
- Premium Acoustic Guitar - A Larrivee acoustic 6-string for EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason's NN-XT.
- Premium Vintage Keyboards - Multi-samples of a rare Wurlitzer Model 214 "Blacktop" and a restored Clavinet D6. Presented in Reason NN-XT, EXS24, Kontakt, HALion and MachFive formats.
- Premium Electric Pianos - Two world-class Fender Rhodes used by Grammy-winning recording artists on countless recordings. Reason NN-XT, EXS24, Kontakt, HALion and MachFive formats.
- Premium Studio Drums - Sonic Implants has multi-sampled a set of Yamaha Recording Custom Drums in Reason NN-XT, EXS24, Kontakt, HALion and MachFive formats.
The first five volumes of ProSessions Premium Instruments have an MSRP of $99.95.
ProSessions 24 titles are distinguished from both the original ProSessions line and other industry titles by two factors: the content of ProSessions 24 volumes is created in collaboration with major recording artists and producers, and all titles are recorded in 24-bit audio for high fidelity.
- Mike Garson Signature Piano - Virtuoso keyboardist Mike Garson (David Bowie) delivers a seamless blend of rock, classical and jazz. Includes 24-bit WAV and REX2 audio files plus MIDI files.
- Antonio Dilillio Signature Electro Patterns Vol. 1 - Italian producer Antonio Dilillio of Cluster Sound demonstrates his flair for electro industrial sound in this 1.5GB collection of 24-bit WAV and REX2.
- Bunker 8 Beyond Foley Vol. 1--Inorganic - This 3GB+ DVD is packed with manmade sound effects including office, transportation, crashes and much more. Includes 24-bit WAV, plus a navigation interface.
The first three volumes of ProSessions 24 are expected to ship in July, at an MSRP of $49.95 each.
ProSessions Producer series titles were co-produced by Sonic Implants in EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason formats. They feature the same samples used for Sonic Implants' Giga libraries.
- Orchestral Strings - Designed by Sonic Implants, Orchestral Strings features musicians from the Boston Pops and Boston Ballet Orchestra. EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason formats.
- Orchestral Brass - Designed by Sonic Implants, Orchestral Brass features musicians from the Boston Pops and Boston Ballet Orchestra. EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason formats.
- Heavy Guitars - Produced by Sonic Implants, Heavy Guitar delivers everything from ultra-crunchy to gritty "Old Skool"--even realistic strumming. EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason formats.
- Electric Bass Vol. 1--Rock - Produced by Sonic Implants, Electric Bass Vol. 1--Rock delivers three different basses with multiple variations that provide the foundation for just about any rock project. Whether you're working on driving hard rock, metal, or punk, Bass Vol.1--Rock has it all. EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive and Reason support.
- Afro-Cuban Percussion - Produced by Sonic Implants, Afro-Cuban Percussion includes over 30 instruments with tons of variations. EXS24, HALion, Kontakt, MachFive or Reason support.
The first five volumes of ProSessions Producer are expected to ship in July at $99.95 (standard volumes); $119.95 (orchestral titles).
