Two New Colors Added to Mapex M-Birch Line

Mapex USA has unveiled the addition of two new transparent lacquer colors to its M Birch Series. The new colors, Transparent Purple and Transparent Emerald Green have been added to the three original transparent finishes, cherry, amber and sapphire. The M Birch, introduced in January 2005, has been one of Mapex's most successful selling products, affording the company the opportunity to expand the series' color options.
Five-piece M-Birch drum sets are offered in four configurations, Standard (22, 12, 13, 16 floor, 14 x 5.5), Fusion (22, 10, 12, 14, 14 x 5.5), Fusionease (22, 10, 12, 14 floor, 14 x 5.5) and Jazz (20, 10, 12, 14 floor, 14 x 5.5).
Throughout 2005, consumers benefit from Mapex's year long "6 for 5" promotion. Consumers purchasing a 5-piece studio, 5-piece fusion, 5-piece fusionease, or 5-piece jazz will receive a free matching 8-inch tom. Purchasers of a 5-piece standard will receive a free 10-inch tom. All free add-on toms will be equipped with a TH684 tom arm and an AC901 multiclamp.
5-piece M-Birch drum sets carry an MSRP of $1199.99. The drum shell's are constructed entirely of birch plies with an exterior maple veneer that provides a beautiful grain pattern, enhancing the transparent lacquer finish. All M Birch drum sets include double-braced Mapex 500-Series Performing Artist Hardware and a throne.
