Numark introduced the Fusion 494 DJ Package, providing everything necessary to start spinning like a pro including two Numark Axis 4 CD players, the DM950 mixer, and the HF 125 headphones--all pre-wired and shipped
At the heart of the Fusion 494 system are twin Axis 4 CD players. Featuring two seamless loop points and three stutter starts, the Axis 4 provides a wealth of creative options for the expressive DJ. With their built-in tap BPM counters, beat mixing doesn't get any easier, and with fader/remote start and relay capability, DJs can take their skills to a new level of performance. The Axis 4's big rubberized pitch control wheel facilitates 8/16% pitch bend capability with the push and pull technique DJs have come to expect, and the durable steel enclosures with laser shutoff mode and auto-retractable media trays ensure rugged, reliable operation night after night.
Part of the excitement of spinning comes from the ability to crossfade between music sources and control other aspects of one's performance. For this, the package includes Numark's DM950 mixer. Featuring switchable inputs that can accommodate upward of four line level signals, two phono inputs, and a microphone, the DM950 is the perfect complement to the Axis CD
players. In addition to two-band rotary EQ, independent gain control, and Phono/Line switches on each channel, this compact, feature rich mixer incorporates a replaceable crossfader for blending music between the two channels.
And no DJ setup is complete without headphones. For this, the Fusion 494 DJ Package provides Numark's HF 125 headphones. Mixing and cueing one's music with the HF 125 headphones is a pleasure. These headphones provide flexible, 7-position independently adjustable dual ear cups, large 40mm Mylar speaker drivers, and include a 6-ft tangle resistant cord with a quarter-inch phone plug connector.
To ensure all these great components function optimally, the Fusion 494 DJ Package comes pre-wired--eliminating any confusion in terms of system interconnects.
Suggested retail price: $999. The Fusion 494 will be available Q4 of 2005.
