PRESS RELEASE

Limited Time Sony Oxford Plug-In Bundle Announced

July 26, 2005

Sony has combined its Oxford Reverb, Inflator and TransModulator Plug-ins into one bundle. This "Big Three" media pack will be available through September and offers professional customers a suggested list price providing savings of nearly 50 percent off the individual price of each plug-in.

The "Big Three" Oxford Plug-ins Media Pack includes:

  • Reverb: Provides powerful capabilities for building virtual spaces for any artistic requirement. Reverb offers users an array of options for working with diverse audio situations, from dry, reflective ambiences or room and hall simulations and sound effects to expansive reverberant spaces.
  • Inflator: Increases the apparent loudness of almost any recording without obvious loss of quality or audible reduction of dynamic range. By avoiding damaging increases in peak signal level, Inflator can bring power, presence and warmth to recorded material with a subtlety and musical character reminiscent of tube systems.
  • TransMod: Offers the ability to radically modify the dynamic level of tracks, and to revitalize recordings without negatively impacting original artistic intent. By addressing a variety of mixing issues ranging from level and dynamic gain control to loudness enhancement, it provides engineers with a powerful and user-friendly tool for dramatically improving sound quality.

The Big Three Oxford Plug-ins media pack is available in TC Powercore, Digidesign Pro Tools LE, TDM, HD and Accel versions, as well as for Windows XP, Macintosh OS9 and Macintosh OSX platforms.

The bundle is currently available at a suggested list price of $1050.
