Classic Series 50s Precision Bass
(Click for a close-up)

Fender welcomes the newest member to its line of Classic Series instruments, the Fender '50s Precision Bass guitar. With vintage specifications and modern manufacturing, the new Fender '50s Precision Bass guitar offers bass players the features and "vibe" of this classic Fender instrument.

As with its predecessors, the new Fender '50s Precision Bass guitar is a straight-ahead, no-nonsense instrument. Its alder body and split single-coil Precision Bass pickup evoke the signature tone of the instrument, which has provided the backdrop for uncountable recordings and live performances since its inception more than 50 years ago.

Built today at Fender's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Mexico, the new Fender '50s Precision Bass guitar features the finest materials available to ensure that this model will still be playing strong for the next 50 years. The sturdy one-piece maple neck comes with vintage-specification tuning machines, with the body featuring a gold anodized pickguard and vintage-specification top-load bridge.

A selection of classic Fender colors options–including Two-Color Sunburst, Fiesta Red, Honey Blonde and Black–complete the vintage aesthetics. A deluxe gig bag is also included. US MSRP is $899.99.
