Audio-Technica Announces "40 Series: Unmasked" Interactive Online Demo

Audio-Technica, leading manufacturer of professional microphones and headphones, has announced the launch of its "40 Series: Unmasked" interactive online demo at www.audio-technica.com. This new website feature is designed to allow visitors access to the most comprehensive technical specifications while auditioning A-T's acclaimed line of 40 Series Side-address Condenser Microphones. The "40 Series: Unmasked" demo exposes the nuances and differences between the AT4060 Cardioid Vacuum Tube Condenser Microphone, AT4050 Multi-pattern Condenser Microphone, AT4047/SV Cardioid Condenser Microphone, AT4040 Cardioid Condenser Microphone and AT4033/CL Cardioid Condenser Microphone.
The "40 Series: Unmasked" section of the A-T website is divided into several subsections:
Product Overview / Description — comprehensive summation of the microphone's characteristics with application suggestions as well as testimonials from legendary producers/engineers such as David Reitzas, Frank Filipetti, Joe Chiccarelli, Nathaniel Kunkel, and Phil Ramone.
Listen To These 40 Series Microphones and Compare — enables visitors to select a specific 40 Series microphone and hear a demo of a female vocal, male vocal or acoustic guitar. Demos were recorded in a state-of-the-art studio using a signal path as follows: microphone output to Great River MP-2NV preamp to Pro Tools|HD®. iZ RADAR 24 was used for A-to-D conversion.
