Crest Performance Introduces CPX 2.0 And CPX 3.0 Power Amplifiers

July 15, 2006

(Click for a close-up)

Crest Performance, a division of Crest Audio, proudly introduces the new CPX 2.0 and CPX 3.0 power amplifiers. CPX amps feature a variable crossover on each channel, plus variable low-pass filters and an amp function switch that selects high, low or full-range operation.

With power ratings up to 3,000 watts, the Crest Performance CPX Series combines high-power ratings and quality Crest Audio designs with MI-style value. The CPX 2.0 and 3.0 feature Crest Audio's GCL™ Gain Comparator Limiting system, which allows maximum output without speaker distortion, as well as its strong five-year warranty. Two fully automatic, dual-speed cooling fans pull cool air from in front of the rack—not the rear—and activate only when needed, making these amplifiers completely silent at low levels.

These two-rack-space power amps include 10-segment, multi-color, peak-hold bar graphs along with LED input indicators for amplifier active, DDT active, temperature warning and DC output warning on the front-panel display. Inputs are XLR-1/4" combi connectors, while outputs include binding post and Neutrik® Speakon® connectors, a separate Speakon mono bridge output and thru/low output jacks and high output jacks.
