On Friday, July 14, 2006, Gretsch® will unveil its all new G400JV Jimmie Vaughan Synchromatic™ Archtop guitar model, as Vaughan himself plays the instrument in Ballroom D500 at the Austin Convention Center. In conjunction with NAMM, "An Evening With Jimmie Vaughan & Special Guests" is open to all NAMM show attendees, and it will be the first time that the hometown hero plays his new Gretsch signature model guitar in public.

The new Gretsch G400JV Jimmie Vaughan Synchromatic Archtop is ideal for Gretsch players looking for a cool stage-ready acoustic/electric archtop guitar, vintage enthusiasts, guitar collectors, Gretsch fanatics and, of course, Jimmie Vaughan fans.

Designed by Vaughan himself for everything from blues to jazz, the new G400JV is destined to be a classic for years to come. Features include all solid wood construction, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, newly designed Fishman® archtop acoustic pickup system, and Grover® Imperial™ machine heads.
