Jackson Introduces The Mark Morton Signature Model Guitar

July 14, 2006

With the introduction of the Mark Morton Model, Jackson® Guitars proudly continues the great tradition upon which the company was founded: making incredible guitars that are designed and road tested by guitar heroes. This new signature model will be introduced at this summer's NAMM show, where it can be seen and heard for the first time at Jackson's booth.

As it has been since the days when the first Rhoads guitar was made, Jackson once again turns to the pro player—Lamb of God's Mark Morton—for design input and unique specifications. The result is a new signature model that features some familiar specs with all new options & original aesthetic appeal.

The Mark Morton Signature Model is a short scale Jackson based on the award winning Swee-tone™ design. With a chambered mahogany body, shark eye inlays, dual humbucking pickups with coil splitters, independent tone & volume controls and beautiful quilt maple top, this guitar is sure to appeal to not only the traditional Jackson fans, but also to those that long for classic looks with modern feel, features, and stability.

Additional features include a 3&3 headstock, pearl button Sperzel® locking tuners, ebony fingerboard with a 12" to 14" compound radius, mahogany neck with Custom Pultruded Graphite Rods, and a tune-o-matic bridge.

US MSRP is $1,857.13
