PRESS RELEASE

LPD Music Brings Italia Guitars to the US

January 22, 2001

LPD Music International has announced the introduction of the new Italia guitar line, the concept and design of well known guitar maker, Trev Wilkinson.

The Italia guitar line, previously available only in Europe, is now distributed exclusively in the U.S. by LPD Music International. Italia guitars feature 60's retro Italian classic styling, with 21st century technology. Italia offers retailers a very distinct high quality alternative to instruments mass produced in the Orient, at very competitive prices.

The line consists of 4 models; Monza, Maranello, Modena and Mondial. All four models offer their own unique features, and are manufactured with the finest parts, including Gotoh machine heads, and Wilkenson pickups and bridges. With acres of pearloid, sparkle finish tops, and generous quantities of chrome, these instruments are in a class of their own!

The Monza is a triple cutaway style, with contrasting back and front colors, divided by a gold strip on the side of the body, and comes with a detachable amp pod.

The Maranello is a single cutaway style, echoing one of the most collectible and rare 1960's guitars, but with sound and play ability demanded by today's musician. It has an Italia stop bar tail piece and a tune-a-matic bridge.

The Modena is a single cutaway with lots of Italian flair. It has a 'Wigsby' smooth action tailpiece and a Wilkinson VS 50K vibrato.

The Mondial has a special 'Acousti-Glass' top design, Italia piezo jazz style bridge and is active with a 2 band EQ for a true acoustic piezo sound.

The Italia line will complement LPD's existing proprietary products, such as, Lone Star Guitars, TKO percussion, Sound Stage Pro Audio, and Belcrest Band Instruments.
