NemeSys Debuts Electric Bass Sample Library January 25, 2001The most comprehensive electric bass multi-sampling ever accomplished, novel
sampling techniques, and pristine audio signal quality combine to poise the new
Scarbee J-series as the new standard in sampled electric bass libraries;
NemeSys Music Technology, Inc. demonstrated the first in a series of new electric
bass sample libraries exclusively designed for the NemeSys GigaStudio and GigaSampler
systems. Designed to maximize the enormous sample capacity, high polyphony, and
pristine 32 bit signal processing exclusive to the NemeSys system, the new Scarbee
J-series bass libraries provide a level of interactivity and musicality not found
in other sampled electric bass libraries.
The new bass libraries realize the advantages of having one single instrument
style captured in extensive detail for each library, applying every advantage
of the massive sampling capacity of the GIGA platform. With the Scarbee J-Slap
bass, the first in the initial series, more than 900 samples are dedicated to
each of the 3 pick-up settings: bridge, both, and neck, providing a total of 2700
samples, or about 800 MB on the CD. The musicality of this handmade Celinder J
Update 4 is expressed in every possible hammer-on, pull-off, grace-note, staccato-release
or slide, with any sustain, mute, thumbed or plucked note combination reproducible
in every authentic context.
MSRP for the Scarbee J-Slap is $149 US. For more information, visit their web site at www.nemesysmusic.com. |
