January 24, 2001Sennheiser Electronic Corporation is introducing five new evolution wireless
accessories at NAMM 2001. The evolution wireless series was launched last year
and quickly became one of the best-selling lines in the Sennheiser microphone
arsenal. Users quickly discovered that every system in the evolution wireless
series offers the choice of 1,280 frequencies, programmable in 25 kHz increments
for maximum flexibility, and trouble-free clarity in virtually any performance
environment.
This year, Sennheiser is addressing the management of multiple systems with
a variety of five useful accessories: the ASP 1 Antenna Splitter, the AC 1 Antenna
Combiner, AB 1 Antenna Booster, AM 1 Adapter, and the A 1031-U Wideband Omnidirectional
Antenna. The ASP 1 Antenna Splitter/DC Power Distributor is a passive antenna
splitter that feeds RF signal and DC power to up to four fixed receivers simultaneously,
reducing the number of antennas required for simplified set-up. Two ASP 1 units
can be cascaded together to feed up to eight receivers from a single pair of antennas
at a cost-effective price of $395.00 including power supply. The AB 1 Antenna
Booster (MSRP: $300) provides a 10 dB gain to the received signal. The AB 1 must
be powered by an ASP 1 unit.
Other time and cost saving accessories include the AC 1 Antenna Combiner (MSPR:
$635.00 with power supply) that takes four in-ear monitoring systems and combines
them onto a single antenna. The AM 1 (MSRP $40/pair) is an adapter used to mount
antennas on the front of a 19-inch rack. The AM 1 can be used with the evolution
wireless rack mountable receivers, ASP 1 splitters, IEM transmitters, as well
as AC 1 combiners. The A 1031-U passive Wideband Omnidirectional Antennas (MSRP
$240/pair) are recommended for use as remote diversity antennas with all evolution
wireless microphone systems.
The evolution wireless microphone line is comprised of the 100, 300, 300 IEM
(In-Ear Monitoring), and 500 Series. All systems feature true diversity receivers
(with the exception of systems featuring camera-mountable receivers), full metal
housings, a new HDX(tm) Compander System for crystal-clear audio and a user-friendly
alphanumeric display for frequency and sensitivity adjustment and monitoring of
RF signal strength. For more information, visit their web site at www.sennheiser.com. |
