January 20, 2001Anaheim, CA--TC WORKS is showing SPARK! Version 2.0, offering an all new set
of features and major enhancements for the popular MacOS application, including
dramatically enhanced file editing speed and an increased powerful FX Matrix for
up to 40 instances of real time plug-in processes. "SPARK already features
the most powerful FX routing and processing capabilities available on the market
today. With SPARK 2.0, and the advent of Apple's brand-new multi-processor machines
even more performance becomes available for native audio processing within Spark,
comments Ralf Schluenzen, CEO of TC Works. "Now massive multi-band FX-configurations
become a reality so musicians, sound designers, engineers and creative music professionals
have even more possibilities than ever before, with lightning fast response in
real time.
A primary feature of Spark 2.0 is a new completely rewritten virtual file engine,
which results in a dramatic speed improvement of all the editing functions in
SPARK's Wave Editor and allows for instantaneous and unlimited undos. With this
improvement many SPARK functions are now processed at speeds which are exponentially
faster for instant results. SPARK 2.0's new FXmatrix increases the original configuration
from a 4x5 routing grid of Plug-Ins to 4x10 with even more creative ways to increase
the routings possible by adding FX Matrixes with the main FX Matrix, providing
an almost limitless number of possible effect processing and routing variations.
Among other enhancements in SPARK 2.0 include a real time analyzer, with a
detailed visual tool for processing and mastering, a classic guitar Wah-pedal
Plug-In called TouchWah , and an increased number of bundled plug-ins - 18 total
in Spark! 2.0 , and 20 plug-ins with Spark XL - the version with Pro Tools TDM
Plug-In support and De-noising and De-Clicking restoration features.
SPARK is TC WORKS realtime audio editor and processor for MacOS, with VST Plug-In
support, a comprehensive VST Plug-In bundle from FX to mastering quality dynamics
included, 24/96 support, multiband FXmachine Plug-In matrix (open to VST and also
compatible for stand alone use within MAS), realtime crossfade editor and play
list, sampler support and much more. Processing capabilities even include a modular
synthesizer, that can be used independent of Spark directly inside a sequencer.
SPARK 2.0 will be shipping in November 2000.
