PRESS RELEASE

Tech 21 Introduces the Bass Power Wedge 60

January 22, 2001

These dual function wedge cabinets serve as a pre-amp amplifier system and personal monitoring system. With 60 watts of transparent power, they can be used with any direct recording device or pre-amp, analog or digital, tube or solid state, in pedal or rackmount format, from any manufacturer (including Tech 21's own SansAmp line).

The Bass Power Wedge 60 allows you to take all your great direct recording sounds out to a gig without having to tweak the presets. Just plug your favorite preamp into a Bass Power Wedge 60 and run the XLR output to the house PA. In the studio, you can take advantage of employing various miking techniques to expand your tonal palette.

You can endlessly chain Bass Power Wedge 60s together, in mono or stereo, via ground independent inputs and output. There's no limit as to how many you can have, and there's no limit as to how you can use them --with bass, guitar, acoustic instruments, even vocals.

The front ported cabinet is covered in heavy duty black carpet and has a chrome-plated steel grill. Features include a 1 x10 cast-frame custom-designed speaker, 3-band active EQ controls, individual level control, balanced XLR input, 1 /4" input and balanced XLR output.

The U.S. suggested retail price is $445.00. Manufactured in the U.S.A. by Tech 21, Inc.
